THE CHAKRAS.
Here is a little information on each of the main seven chakras of the body which most metaphysical or energy workers will have some knowledge of-
1st CHAKRA.
COLOUR - RED
This is known as the ‘Base Chakra’. Found at the base of the spine. It is connected to the Adrenal gland and excretory system.
Associations. Grounding, security and survival.
2nd CHAKRA.
COLOUR - ORANGE.
This is known as the Sacral/Navel Chakra.Found just below the navel, it is connected to the Gonads/Ovaries.
Associations. Sexuality, desire,emotional expression.
3rd CHAKRA.
COLOUR - YELLOW.
This is known as the Solar Plexus. Found at the base of the ribs.It is connected to Spleen/Pancreas and also the Digestive System.
Associations. Self, power, inspiration,action.
4th CHAKRA.
COLOUR - GREEN.
This is known as the Heart Chakra. Found in Mid upper chest area. It is connected to the Thymus and Circulatory system.
Associations. Love, Compassion, Emotional balance.
5th CHAKRA.
COLOUR.- BLUE.
This is known as the Throat chakra. Located in the Throat. It is connected to the Thyroid/Parathyroid gland and Respiritory System.
Associations. Communication. Speech, self expression.
6th CHAKRA.
COLOUR - INDIGO
This is known as the Third Eye Chakra. Located in the brow. It is connected to the Pituitary gland and Nervous System.
Associations. Third Eye. Psychic Abilities, Perception, vision, intuition.
7th CHAKRA.
COLOUR - VIOLET.
This is known as the Crown Chakra. Located at the Crown. It is connected to the Pineal gland and Central Nervous System.
